Rusty is the one and only puppy from our very first breeding. We've decided to keep him. He shows GREAT show potential; he has it all, attitude, movement and structure.

When Rusty turned 6 months old, we started our first "show classes". The weekend after his FIRST class, we attended our first "fun match" which is like a dog show only a lot less formal, no points, and no certified judges. Anyway, Rusty did so well, we took Puppy SPORTING GROUP 2!!! The judge had put us first but switched us with the Irish Setter puppy at the last minute. Later she told me the only reason that she did the switch was that Rusty broke his stride on the "go around". Since he'd only been moved at a show gate the ONE class before the match, I was VERY happy with our placement.

Here are a few pictures from the day after the match. We went to our dog club and took some pictures of him stacked and his movement. Man, movement pictures are hard to get, but this will give you some idea of what he's doing at 6 months old.

I just threw that last one in for fun!!! Hope you like it!!!
